Text Box: EPDM Rubber is a very successful material that has had wide spread uses in many products since the early 1940’s.  Its development and availability kept trucks, ships, tanks and airplanes rolling off assembly lines possibly shortening WWII by years.   At present one of its most successful applications is its use as a single ply roofing material.  First used in the early 1960’s, over 45 years later there are tens of billions of square feet of roof covered with  EDPM rubber, protecting factories, stores, businesses and homes under the extremes of heat, cold and intense UV rays from the sun.   Today Lasting Impressions Decorative Coatings is offering a new product made from this durable and long lasting material.   RubberDek® manufactured by PDCS Systems provides a durable, beautiful, shock absorbent, slip resistant, seamless surface over virtually any substrate such as wood, concrete, tile asphalt, metal, plastic and a lot more.   How does Rubberdek® compare to other resurfacing products? Rubberdek®  is flexible – The nature of Rubberdek®  rubber and Rubberdek® specially formulated resin allows for movement in the surface without causing cracking, peeling or flaking.  Temperature changes  on substrates such as concrete cause it to expand and contract, which for all other existing top coat products on the market would create movement on the top coat causing cracking, peeling or flaking of the product.  Rubberdek® simply flexes with it leaving no adverse effects.   How will the finished product look? Rubberdek® not only offers a   flexible, non skid surface for adults, children and pets, but also creates a beautiful decorative seamless surface.  Using a combination of 10 Rubberdek® colors will allow you to create custom borders, designs, and logos creating an individual custom look.   How does the surface wear?
